On May 20, 2026, Graduate School (Research) hosted an Interdepartmental Research Colloquium featuring PhD candidate Yulduz Yakubova, who presented her dissertation titled, "Heritage Sites Branding Management and Its Effect on Residents' Well-Being."
The research explored the relationship between heritage site branding and the well-being of local communities, examining how destination branding strategies impact residents' quality of life, sense of identity, and community engagement. The study offered valuable insights into the socio-economic and psychological dimensions of heritage management in the Uzbek context.
The colloquium provided a constructive platform for scholarly feedback and discussion. Following an engaged review and Q&A session, the dissertation was recommended to proceed to the next stage toward defense in accordance with SAC requirements.
