The title of the dissertation is “Econometric analysis of the role of digitalization in promoting the green economy in Uzbekistan.”

The ongoing global transition toward sustainable development has highlighted the importance of integrating digital technologies into environmental and economic policies. In Uzbekistan, the process of digital transformation is accelerating across various sectors, creating new opportunities to support the development of a green economy through improved resource efficiency, energy management, and environmental monitoring. This research aims to investigate the econometric relationship between digitalization and the advancement of the green economy in Uzbekistan. In particular, it examines how digital technologies — such as smart systems, data-driven decision-making, and digital infrastructure — influence environmental sustainability indicators, renewable energy adoption, and resource efficiency. Using quantitative methods and econometric modeling, the study analyzes national-level data to identify the extent to which digital development contributes to green economic growth. The research focuses on assessing causal relationships between digitalization indicators and environmental performance, including energy efficiency, carbon emissions reduction, and sustainable production practices. The findings are expected to provide empirical evidence on the role of digital transformation as a driver of sustainable development and to support policy recommendations aimed at strengthening the integration of digital technologies into Uzbekistan’s green economy strategy.
